Asphalt Milling Machine Operator (Road Grinder)Location: GTA & surrounding areasEmployment Type: Full Time/SeasonalJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator (Road Grinder) to operate large asphalt milling / cold planer machines on municipal, commercial, and heavy civil road construction projects.This role is ideal for a skilled operator who takes pride in precision work, equipment care, and safe jobsite execution.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate large asphalt milling / road grinder machines safely and efficientlyPerform depth-controlled milling in accordance with project specificationsConduct daily pre-trip and equipment inspectionsWork closely with ground crews, truck drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operationsFollow all health & safety policies, traffic control plans, and site proceduresMaintain clean, orderly, and safe work areasReport mechanical issues, deficiencies, or hazards immediatelyComplete required documentation (inspection logs, work tickets, etc.)Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 2?3 years experience operating asphalt milling / road grinder equipmentExperience with large cold planer machines (e.g., Wirtgen, CAT, Roadtec or similar)Valid driver?s licence (AZ/DZ an asset)Strong understanding of road construction environmentsAbility to work long hours, nights, and weekends as requiredPhysically capable of working in outdoor construction conditionsStrong communication skills and a safety-first mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesSteady work with reputable road construction projectsWell-maintained equipmentProfessional, safety-focused team environmentOpportunity for long-term employment and advancement Location Vaughan , ON Work location On site Salary $ 30.00 to $ 50.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible Source CareerBeacon #3307898 Various locations Vaughan, ON
