We are currently seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented property maintenance foreman to be part of our team this spring. We provide full grounds maintenance including power sweeping of parking lots, lawn care services, flower and tree planting, aerating and de-thatching, leaf removal and various other types of maintenance including full lawn care programs for fertilizing and weed and insect control.Responsibilities:· Operate equipment including tractors, blowers, trimmers, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, power broom, etc.· Maintain flower beds including pruning, edging, and weeding.· Installation of soil, flowers, shrubs, mulch, etc· Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, and hand lifting/carrying.· Maintain professional company image.· Supervise and motivate your crew.· Complete and submit paperwork related to any jobs, maintain written time records and work orders.· Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues ? make suggestions for solutions.· Follow and enforce health & safety regulations of our profession.Requirements:· Experience operating mowers and trimmers.· Knowledge of turf and garden maintenance and plant material considered an asset.· Positive attitude, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.· Valid G license and clean driving record.· Strong leadership and communication skills.Why you should apply:· Competitive total compensation package.· Health and dental benefits.· Holiday closures.· Advanced training and opportunities for career advancement.· Deferred profit-sharing plan.· Regular team building activities.· A positive and fun family-oriented environment.If you are looking for a change with a great opportunity for personal growth and success in a team environment, apply today!
