Role Summary:Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Full Stack Developer will work as a core part of our tight-knit engineering team. Our product is a client-facing web application that acts as an automation platform for complex medical data. The application connects to our AI platform that applies computer vision and NLP models to legal and medical documents and enables processing of medical claims. ResponsibilitiesAs a core part of the Engineering team, you will deliver features for the automation platform and our machine learning engineYou will further define and deliver customer-facing features as we scale into growing customer demand, expertly augmenting our core product with insightful benefitsYou will write documentation (Confluence) for components and architecture, defending architecture decisions and clarifying Engineering output across the teamYou will assist in integrating models and processes into our processing pipeline, developing the infrastructure and data pipelines to support ongoing data analysis and actionable result setsOther duties as assigned Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience as a front-end or full stack engineer work across the application layersRelevant educational background Expertise in JavaScript and familiarity with frameworks like Vue.js or React.jsGood knowledge of python. Experience with Django highly desirable.Experience building and working with REST APIs. Knowledge of GraphQL is an asset.Experience working at a startup an asset Good knowledge of tools/hardware and languages like Linux, Git, Docker and SQL You have an understanding of automation practices throughout the AGILE development, build, and deployment phases of the application life-cycle.
