*Location:* Vancouver, BC *Employment Type:* Full-time *Language:* Mandarin Chinese and English required *Job Summary* Haptrans is a subsidiary of Bondex Supply Chain Management Corp., an international freight forwarding and logistics company providing ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and cross-border logistics services with more than 2,500 employees worldwide. We are currently hiring a *Customs Entry Specialist* to join our Canadian team in Vancouver and support our growing customs operations. *Key Responsibilities* * Handle daily Canadian import customs entries and clearance activities. * Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation and entry information. * Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other supporting documents for accuracy. * Assist with tariff classification, customs valuation, duties, and taxes. * Communicate with CBSA, carriers, clients, customs brokers, and other service providers regarding shipment clearance. * Monitor customs releases, examinations, holds, and documentation requirements. * Identify and resolve customs entry issues and discrepancies. * Follow up on shipments to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery. * Maintain accurate customs records and documentation. * Coordinate with internal operations teams and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment processing. * Provide timely updates to customers regarding customs clearance status. *Qualifications* * 2+ years of experience in Canadian customs, customs brokerage, import operations, or freight forwarding. * Solid understanding of Canadian customs clearance procedures and import documentation. * Experience preparing customs entries and working with tariff classification is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * *Mandarin Chinese and English proficiency is required.* * Experience with CargoWise or other freight forwarding/customs systems is an asset. * CCS or other Canadian customs-related certification is an asset but not required. * A Customs Broker Licence is preferred but not required for this position.
