*Employment* * Starting after Labour Day * Part-time positions available * Multiple indoor pool locations across Ottawa *Position Overview* Ottawa PoolWorks is hiring qualified Aquafit Instructors to teach programming to participants in a safe, engaging, and enjoyable manner while following the guidelines of the certifying agency and adhering to all corporate and departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. *Key Responsibilities* * Ensure participant safety * Provide exercise instruction and demonstrations * Modify exercises as needed * Monitor participants throughout classes * Follow certification guidelines * Follow company policies and procedures * Maintain required certifications * Set up and put away equipment * Maintain a clean and safe class environment * Record attendance * Communicate with participants and staff * Report safety or facility concerns * Arrive prepared and on time *Required Qualifications* * Valid National Lifeguard ? Pool Certification * Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C * Aquafitness Instructor certificate (CALA, YM-YWCA, WaterART or other recognized certification) Pay: From $25.00 per hour Application question(s): * Do you have a valid Aquafit Instructor certification?
