We are looking for a reliable Construction Project Manager to join our team! As a Construction Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, managing, and tracking the progress of our construction projects. All candidates must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. *Responsibilities* * Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project * Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements * Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities * Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations * Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met * Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies * Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities * Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed * Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports * Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues *Construction Project Manager requirements* * Minimum 5 years experience utilizing Canadian construction codes * Must have either of the following credentials: PMP, CET certificate, Certified Engineer or Gold Seal Certified * Computer knowledge: excel, MS projects * Experience with construction management software packages * Ability to plan and see the ?big picture? * Outstanding knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards * Competent in conflict and crisis management * Good time-management skills * Ability to multi-task * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Critical-thinker and problem-solver APPLICANT MUST BE A RESIDENT OF MANITOBA, CANADA Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Ability to commute/relocate: * Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Project management: 5 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Location Winnipeg , MB Work location On site Salary $ 70,000 to $ 80,000 YEAR annually Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10226718139 Various locations Winnipeg, MB
