Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Heavy equipment. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults. Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning. Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies. Calibrate products using hand tools. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Prepare cost estimates. Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians. Read blueprints and drawings. Provide customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electronic Technician Trade Certification - consumer products.
