Main Street Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our dynamic, supportive team at our brand-new multidisciplinary clinic. As a full-service rehabilitation center, we are seamlessly integrated with a renowned medical facility offering Chronic Pain Management, Orthopaedics, Family Medicine, Infusion Therapy, and an on-site Pharmacy. What we provide: · Newly renovated clinic that is professional, clean and modern · Private treatment rooms with sink and electric treatment tables · Large fully equipped gym with a separate multi bed modality room · Flexible and accommodating work schedule · Close collaboration with a highly-skilled team of therapists and physicians · Skilled administrative team to manage reception and handle all scheduling, invoicing and billing · Responsibilities: · Conduct comprehensive assessments including postural assessment, range of motion tests, neurological and orthopedic examination, and palpation of joints and soft tissues · Define and implement treatment plans including spinal and joint adjustment or manipulations, soft tissue work and/or the use of complementary therapies such as electrotherapy, acupuncture, heat therapy and massage · Completion of MVA and WSIB forms · Communicate and collaborate with other practitioners/therapists and reception to ensure the efficiency of the clinic?s operation · Refer patients to other health care professionals when appropriate Requirements/Qualifications: · Must be licensed with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario · Active professional liability insurance · Excellent clinical interpersonal and organizational skills · Commitment to professional development · Ability to multi-task and prioritize with focus on customer service · An energetic team player · Concussion experience an asset This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
