The Role: As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining both our core web applications (NHC Portal and API) and our mobile offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions that directly impact our users. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain features for the NHC web portal and backend API. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs. Lead the development and deployment of our Android mobile applications. Manage deployment processes for Android apps to the Google Play Store. Collaborate on database design and optimize queries. Work within an AWS cloud environment, utilizing services for hosting, data storage, and compute. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to security and HIPAA compliance standards. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience in Full Stack software development. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in mobile application development, specifically for Android. Proven experience deploying and managing apps in the Google Play Store. Strong proficiency in our backend stack: Python 3.12, Django 5.2, Django REST Framework (DRF), and Celery. Strong proficiency in our frontend stack: React 18 and Vite. Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL 16. Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments, particularly AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI). Bonus Points: Experience with OpenTofu for Infrastructure as Code. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
