This Record-to-report Accountant will be hired under one of First Gen Group's entity, Pi Energy , and will primarily be responsible in preparing all necessary financial reports, and ensuring that the company is adhering to all financial regulations of the government. They shall also be able to identify and mitigate any potential financial risks. Roles & Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements and maintain accurate financial reports Update financial models and prepare financial reports for management Manage actual and expected cash flows Manage tax compliance (BIR, VAT, BOI) in coordination with other stakeholders Manage renewal of business permits and real property taxes Manage regulatory compliance to the DOE, ERC, NPC, SEC; file quarterly and annual reports Audit financial transactions and review internal controls Key Competencies & Skills: Updated on the current accounting standards and tax/government regulations Excellent financial reporting modelling skills Excellent analysis and decision-making skills Excellent risk management skills Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills Able to multitask and manage multiple workload within the provided deadline/timeline Certified Public Accountant 5-10 years working experience, preferably in the record-to-report function (general accounting / financial reporting) Proficient in SAP, MS Office and Google Workspace Preferably with experience in government relations Experienced in customer service/stakeholder management
