Accounting Manager

Financial Reporting & Period-End Closing: Oversee the entire month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise the accounting team, typically comprising Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll specialists, and staff accountants. General Ledger Maintenance : Ensure that all journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals are recorded properly and accurately. Audit & Tax Coordination : Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors. This includes preparing audit schedules, addressing audit inquiries, and ensuring accurate compliance and filing for national and local taxes. Internal Controls : Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Assist the CFO or executive team in preparing the annual budget. Periodically compare actual financial results against the budget and analyze significant variances. System Optimization: Manage and optimize the company's accounting software or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to automate workflows and enhance efficiency. Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates possessing professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Tax Brevet are highly preferred. Work Experience : Requires approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role or as a Senior Accountant. Regulatory Knowledge : In-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and standards, such as Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards (PSAK), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ...
