We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Product Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, designing customer-focused solutions, supporting the sales process, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey. Key Responsibilities Analyze customers' business and technical requirements in collaboration with the Account Manager. Design and recommend the most suitable IT solutions based on customer needs and business objectives. Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and Bills of Material (BOM) in accordance with the company's product portfolio. Conduct technical validation and pricing reviews before proposals are submitted to customers. Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC), and technical discussions with prospective customers. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned products and solutions. Maintain and update product portfolios, price lists, solution packages, and margin structures. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop product materials, technical documentation, campaigns, webinars, and customer success stories. Build and maintain strong relationships with principals and vendors to stay updated on product roadmaps, new features, promotions, and partnership programs. Coordinate deal registration and technical or commercial support with principals and vendors. Conduct internal product knowledge sharing and technical training sessions. Prepare regular reports on product performance, sales forecasts, and business opportunities. Ensure proper project handover to the Delivery or Technical team by providing complete solution documentation and implementation requirements. Support the initial (non-operational) phase of customer onboarding to ensure a smooth project transition. Experience & Track Record Minimum 2–4 years of experience in LMS/Moodle-related work, either as a Product Specialist, Presales Engineer, LMS Administrator, System/Infrastructure Engineer, or similar technical role. Solid technical understanding of how Moodle works end-to-end (architecture, hosting, integrations), enabling solution design, technical proposals, infrastructure sizing/BOQ, and product presentations to prospective customers. Nice to have: direct hands-on experience with Moodle installation, configuration, customization, migration, and/or troubleshooting in a production environment. Technical Skills - Moodle & LMS Platform Understanding of Moodle architecture: core structure, plugin/module management, theme customization, roles & permissions, course/category management. Familiar with standard LMS integrations: SSO (SAML/OAuth), SCORM, xAPI/Tin Can, LTI, H5P. Nice to have : hands-on experience installing/configuring Moodle; familiarity with Open edX. Technical Skills - Infrastructure & Cloud Understanding of Linux server administration (Ubuntu/CentOS) and the LAMP/LEMP stack (Apache/Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL, PHP), sufficient to support solution design and technical discussions with the Engineering team. Understanding of cloud hosting and deployment — Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus including VM sizing, storage, backup, and disaster recovery concepts. Basic understanding of security hardening (SSL/TLS, firewall, access control) and network management relevant to LMS hosting. Nice to have: familiarity with containerization (Docker) for Moodle deployment; exposure to automation/AI (Power Automate, Power BI, AI chatbot/LLM integration for LMS), aligned with PCMan's future solution direction. Certifications (a plus, not mandatory) Moodle Certified Educator / Moodle Course Creator Certificate. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate. LPIC-1 / RHCSA or other Linux administration certifications. General Competencies Able to translate technical requirements into business solutions that are easily understood by non-technical customers. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to support the presales cycle alongside the Sales team. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM systems (Dynamics 365 is a plus, as it is used at PCMan). Education Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field. Candidates from non-IT backgrounds (Business/Marketing) may still be considered if they have a strong hands-on Moodle/infrastructure portfolio. Others Good command of English (written & spoken) for technical documentation and vendor communication. Willing to travel for business purposes as required.
