Role Description Content writers create user-friendly text for devices, apps, and other products to navigate users around a product and help them complete their desired actions. They set the tone for content and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints. They work with a variety of UX design-related jobs including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer operations to help establish connective language and a unified voice for the users. Key Responsibilities Work with designers, managers a find written and visual design solutions for digital services Write from the user's perspective, in plain English Make complex language and processes easy to understand Produce a consistent tone of voice guidelines for a product Design content to meet user needs Design appropriate usability tests for content Communicate content ideas or usability research to managers, designers and stakeholders (e.g. deliver presentations, facilitate workshops or give talks) Manage and ensure the effectiveness content guidelines Collaborate across the entire project team to improve copywriting and communication Prerequisites Have a degree or diploma in Communication, Design or a related field Have UX writing, content design and content strategy experience on digital products or digital platforms Possess a good portfolio that demonstrates creativity and craft in writing for digital products or media Have strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to design and user experience Be a team player and have experience working closely with a UX team of Interaction/UX designers, Visual designers and UX researchers to deliver the best user experience Experience working in a cross-functional and agile development team would be a bonus
