Prepare, review, and maintain accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, vouchers, and ledgers. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including billing, collections, and disbursements Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. File tax compliance requirements, including preparation, submission, and payment of VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other statutory taxes. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations; ensure company compliance with BIR and other government agencies. Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff in recording transactions and preparing reports. Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and other financial records. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. Support external and internal audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Maintain and update accounting systems and records (ERP/accounting software). Monitor cash flow, review expense reports, and process reimbursements. Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents. Prepare and submit required accounting reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to management and the General Manager (e.g., financial statements, cash flow reports, expense analyses, and other relevant summaries). Assist management in financial planning, investment analysis, and budget monitoring. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or finance, including tax filing and reporting responsibilities. Knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR e-filing systems, and statutory compliance. Certifications (optional but advantageous): CPA, bookkeeping, or tax certification. Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems, spreadsheets, and office management tools.
