Job description: Involved in the transition of our existing PHP-based software applications to modern architectures, frameworks, and development methods. Design and develop enhancements and optimizations for our existing applications and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our SaaS platform. Code reviews and unit tests are part of your responsibility. Working with a medium-sized, agile team of developers. Develop individual features independently. Actively participate in the introduction of new technologies. Contribute solutions to operational and non-functional requirements regarding application management to our DevOps team members. Required Skills: 5+ years of in-depth professional experience in software development projects based on PHP applications. As a Senior / PHP developer, you have already gained several years of in-depth professional experience in software development working on PHP applications. You have extensive knowledge of current PHP frameworks and use them in high-performance and scalable applications. Your experience as a developer includes PHP 7+, MVC frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony and Laminas/ZEND), ORMs, REST, GIT as well as MySQL. Knowledge of SPA based frontend techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving and Analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player and should be able to work with diverse teams locally and globally. A high degree of diligence, reliability, and flexibility to work on several tasks at the same time will ensure your daily success.
