Vessel / Ship Operations Coordination with Terminal Vessels for smooth berthing, discharge sail-off Overseeing managing the statutory requirements on the ship side Container Operations Ensuring all landside requirements are managed viz. issuing of necessary forms, Gate-in etc. Liaising coordinating with Container Depots, Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICDs) for monitoring report of movement of containers Vessel agency Cargo handling related work ( Pre -arrival to Departure) Regular Interaction for above with Principals/Vessel Master/Owner Monitoring and achieving excellence on vessel turn around TDR to In house teams( Sales / Finance / EQC) / Principals / Partners Vessel analysis on operations/TT/costs/Billing Information to Principals/In house on updates w.r.t. Authorities related to work at site Monitoring, coordinating and reporting on container movements from discharging to loading Vessel Husbanding Coordinating with Principal Maintenance Repair (MR) department for damage containers at Depot and carrying out repairs in liaison with Depot. Ensure timely submission of reports as per the deadline Specifications: Good networking capabilities at the Terminal, with Vendors, CFS etc. Leadership skills - Excellent motivational and supervisory skills Ability to be flexible and to multitask Result oriented and driven Ability to absorb pressure that comes with the position Ability to work with little or no supervision at all Excellent Communication skills Strong analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills Possess administration skills
