Key Responsibilities CMDB Management Maintain and update the CMDB within ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. Develop and implement processes for identifying, recording, and managing configuration items (CIs) and their relationships. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all CIs are accurately recorded and updated. Data Integrity & Quality Perform regular audits to ensure CMDB data integrity and quality. Identify and rectify data discrepancies and inaccuracies. Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes. Process Development & Improvement Design and implement configuration management processes and workflows to improve efficiency. Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into effective CMDB solutions. Continuously monitor and enhance CMDB processes aligning with industry best practices. Integration & Automation Integrate CMDB with other IT systems and ServiceNow modules like Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and tools to automate CMDB tasks. Collaborate with IT operations to ensure seamless system integration. Reporting & Analytics Generate reports and dashboards reflecting CMDB health and status. Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular updates and insights to management and stakeholders. Training & Support Train IT staff and stakeholders on CMDB processes and best practices. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for CMDB-related queries and support.
