Description We are seeking a Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical design and a passion for developing high-performance integrated circuits. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of complex IC designs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities Develop and implement physical design methodologies for integrated circuits (ICs). Perform floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, and routing for high-performance designs. Work closely with the digital design team to ensure design specifications are met. Conduct timing analysis and perform design rule checking (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verification. Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA). Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are suitable for fabrication. Utilize EDA tools for design implementation and verification. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 4-9 years of experience in physical design and implementation of digital circuits. Proficient in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics. Strong understanding of IC design fundamentals, including RTL design, synthesis, and verification processes. Experience with timing analysis tools and methodologies. Knowledge of DFM, DFT, and DVF techniques. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, or Python for automation.
