Description We are seeking a skilled Linux BSP Lead Engineer/Sr. Engineer/Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux kernel development and experience with embedded systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Board Support Packages for various hardware platforms, collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Linux Board Support Packages (BSP) for various hardware platforms. Work closely with hardware teams to integrate and optimize the Linux kernel and device drivers. Debug and resolve issues related to Linux BSP and ensure compatibility with hardware. Implement performance tuning and ensure the reliability and security of the Linux systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for new features. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for Linux BSP development. Skills and Qualifications 3-8 years of experience in Linux kernel development and BSP integration. Strong understanding of Linux operating system architecture and internals. Proficient in C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with device drivers development and debugging. Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.). Knowledge of build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or similar. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
