Sap Abap Consultant

Description We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 10-20 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing ABAP programs, collaborating with functional teams, and optimizing existing programs to enhance performance. Responsibilities Designing and developing ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms. Analyzing functional specifications and translating them into technical specifications for ABAP development. Collaborating with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP developments with SAP modules. Performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting UAT for ABAP developments. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ABAP programs and SAP applications. Optimizing existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency. Documenting technical specifications, programming standards, and best practices for ABAP development. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-20 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP development tools. Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is preferred. Familiarity with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus. Ability to write efficient SQL queries and enhance database performance. Good understanding of SAP data dictionary objects like tables, views, and data elements. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
