Responsibilities: Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve growth targets. Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends within the agri-food sector. Conduct market research to understand client needs and competitive landscape. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients in the agriculture and food industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business deals. Proposal Development and Management: Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the agriculture and food consulting sector. Skills and Competencies: Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth. Strong understanding of the agriculture and food industry, including key players, trends, and challenges. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
