US IT Recruiter

Job Title: US IT Recruiter (Fresher) Location: Nungambakkam - Chennai - (Onsite) Work Hours: US Shift (EST/CST/MST/PST) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter (Fresher) to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong interest in learning end-to-end US staffing processes, including sourcing, screening, and placing top IT talent with our US clients. Key Responsibilities: Learn and support the full recruitment lifecycle for US-based IT roles. Source candidates using job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc.), LinkedIn, and internal databases. Screen resumes to evaluate technical skills, experience, and job fit. Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates regarding job details, availability, and compensation. Submit qualified candidates to senior recruiters or hiring managers. Coordinate candidate interviews and follow-ups. Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT professionals. Work collaboratively with team members to meet hiring goals and deadlines. Understand and adapt to US hiring policies, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and work authorizations (USC, GC, H1B, OPT, CPT). Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (HR, Business, IT preferred but not required). Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Willingness to work in US time zones . Strong ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and tools quickly. Good interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of IT terminology (preferred but can be trained). High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory): Familiarity with job portals like Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, etc. Basic understanding of US visa types and tax terms. Internship experience in recruitment or HR.
