Job Description Experienced networking test professional with expertise in validating Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding, switching, routing, and broadband access technologies including GPON/XGS-PON. Strong background in test strategy creation, functional and performance testing, automation development using Python, Robot Framework, and PyTest, and end-to-end customer scenario validation. Skilled in network troubleshooting, protocol analysis, defect root-cause investigation, and interoperability testing using tools such as Wireshark and iPerf. Well-versed in TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, Multicast, TR-069, and Linux-based debugging environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality telecom and networking products. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Contribute to feature testing of Layer 2/3 Forwarding protocols to validate end-to-end service behavior. Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression, feature, and performance testing. Work with test frameworks (Robot, Python, PyTest) to improve test coverage. Create Test Strategies, Test plans and Participate in testing and verification of switching and routing functionalities . Collaborate with SW team to ensure thorough validation of customer-specific network use cases. Perform functional, performance, stability, and interoperability testing across different deployment scenarios. Provide detailed defect reports with logs, traces, and reproduction steps. Key Skills And Experience You have: Graduate or Master's in engineering with 4-7 years of experience with test and analyzing high-performance switching and routing software. Strong Knowledge in Networking Protocol, GPON / XGSPON , Remote Management Protocols Hands-on experience in testing routers, gateways, or APs. Proficiency in automation scripting (Python preferred). Experience with test frameworks (Robot Framework, PyTest, or similar). Familiarity with network debugging tools (Wireshark, iPerf, packet capture, log analysis). It would be nice if you also had Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN,MCAST, IPV6, TR69. Experience with Linux/Unix systems for debugging and log analysis. Good analytical skills for root cause identification across device and network. Strong communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with telecom standards and network product lifecycle.
