Qualification : B.E / B. Tech – Electrical Engineering Work Experience: 10-15 years Job Purpose Develop detailed cost estimate for the assigned specific discipline and maintaining an internal cost database updated with market prices and trends. Roles & Responsibilities Assist the Cost Estimator and the Proposal Manager in the bid cost definition Participate to procurement and commercial strategy definition and identify the critical activities and materials to be estimated on vendor quotations basis for the correct definition of the MR strategy for the proposal. Pricing of Material Take off produced by ENG. Dept.: ▪ For activities or materials to be estimated on vendor quotation basis, verify vendors offer, prepare the commercial bid evaluation based on Technical evaluation done by ENG. Dept. and finalize the cost estimate ▪ For activities or materials to be estimated in-house, liaise with procurement and engineering to prepare the correct in-house quotation Maintain internal cost database updated with market prices Ensure the assessment of material cost of all projects base on schedule assigned Attend internal and JV cost review meeting Analyse the project technical documents and the vendor quotation in order to select the best price to be included in the bid cost estimate.
