Job Title: Solution Developer Location: PUNE Experience: 1-3 years We are seeking a Solution Developer to join our dynamic team in PUNE. This role is ideal for a professional with 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes, focusing on CAD and Bill of Material management. You will play a crucial part in bridging engineering designs with manufacturing realities. Job Description: 1. Thoroughly review Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and CAD models to ensure accuracy prior to release. 2. Develop and create Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) for manufacturing assemblies, aligning with defined production processes. 3. Address business requirements related to Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM), MBOM, and overall Manufacturing Planning. 4. Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D annotations, incorporating Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards. 5. Conduct gap analysis between engineering designs and manufacturing requirements to identify and resolve discrepancies. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and manufacturing data. 7. Document processes, design specifications, and project progress effectively. 8. Engage in customer interfacing to understand requirements and provide technical support. About the Role: As a Solution Developer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless transition of engineering designs into manufacturing processes. Your expertise in CAD tools, BoM management, and GD&T will be vital in optimizing our product development lifecycle for commercial vehicle products. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex assemblies and contribute to critical process improvements. Skills and Qualifications: - 1-3 years of professional experience in a design or manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in CATIA and/or Creo for assembly design functions. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with application to commercial vehicle products preferred. - Understanding of process planning and manufacturing requirements. - Hands-on experience with 2D Drawing or 3D annotation, including GD&T. - Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing BoM change management processes. - Exposure to BIW, Welded & Bolted Assemblies, Frames, and Axles in the automobile domain is a plus. - Experience with Assembly Revise, Check-In, Check-Out, preferably with Siemens TcUA, is advantageous. - Strong communication, documentation, and customer interfacing skills.
