About SVF SVF is Eastern India's largest media & entertainment company, with a footprint spanning films, television, music, cinemas, and distribution — alongside a fast-growing digital ecosystem that includes hoichoi (India's leading Bengali OTT platform, reaching close to 250 million Bengalis worldwide), Sooper (AI-led micro-drama OTT), and LoglineAI Studios (AI-native creative studio). IT infrastructure is owned centrally at the SVF level and serves every entity in the group. As the business scales content, streaming, and AI-native operations across multiple companies, the technology backbone — network, storage, security, and workplace systems — is what keeps every team shipping without friction. This role owns that backbone end to end, group-wide, and is expected to run it with the same AI-first, cost-conscious rigour SVF applies everywhere else in the business. The Opportunity We're looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure lead to own everything from firewalls and core switching to cloud, compliance, and vendor relationships — across SVF, hoichoi and LoglineAI. This isn't a policy-writing role; it's a build-run-fix role where you're equally comfortable racking a switch, negotiating a renewal, and explaining a security posture to the leadership. You'll be the single point of accountability for IT infrastructure reliability, security, and cost across the group — partnering closely with leadership on what to build in-house, what to outsource, and where AI can remove manual admin work from your own team's plate. What You'll Do Own end-to-end IT infrastructure across SVF, hoichoi and LoglineAI, — network, security, storage, compute, virtualization, and workplace systems. Architect, deploy, and manage firewalls (pfSense, SonicWall) and core switching/routing (HPE, Aruba) for a secure, performant network. Manage enterprise storage systems and the VMware virtualization environment — capacity planning, backups, disaster recovery, and performance tuning. Administer Active Directory and Microsoft O365 environments, and manage core AWS infrastructure and cloud costs. Drive an AI-first approach to IT administration — identify and implement AI/automation tools that reduce manual ticketing, provisioning, and monitoring effort. Lead vendor negotiation and procurement for hardware, software, connectivity, and managed services, with a constant eye on cost optimization. Own ISO audit readiness and IT compliance — policies, controls, evidence, and audit cycles, working with internal and external auditors. Own data security end to end — access control, data encryption and backup integrity, endpoint and network security, and incident response — as a non-negotiable baseline across every entity. Manage and mentor the IT team, including remote support coverage across locations and entities. Act as the primary IT point of contact for leadership and C-level stakeholders — translating business needs into infrastructure decisions and vice versa. Run project management for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new-entity IT rollouts, with clear timelines and budgets. Must-Have Qualifications 10–15 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 3–4 years in a Head/Senior Manager capacity owning infra end to end. Deep hands-on expertise with firewalls (pfSense, SonicWall) and enterprise switching/routing (HPE core switches, Aruba). Strong working knowledge of enterprise storage systems, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft O365, and AWS. Proven experience with ISO audits and IT compliance frameworks. Non-negotiable: strong data security fundamentals — access governance, encryption, backup/DR integrity, and incident response — not treated as an afterthought to networking and firewalls. Track record of vendor negotiation, procurement, and driving measurable IT cost optimization. Demonstrated experience working directly with leadership and C-level stakeholders, including comfort presenting technical decisions in business terms. Uses AI tools to automate IT admin work — ticket triage, monitoring, documentation, provisioning — and knows how to verify and correct AI-generated output before it touches production systems. Good to Have Experience supporting a media, streaming, or content-production environment with distributed/remote teams. Exposure to multi-entity or multi-brand IT setups (shared services model). Relevant certifications (Aruba/HPE networking, AWS, ISO 27001 lead auditor/implementer, ITIL). Experience standing up IT infrastructure for a new business unit or entity from scratch. Why Join SVF You'll own IT infrastructure for Eastern India's largest media & entertainment company — spanning films, TV, music, and cinemas alongside a digital ecosystem reaching close to 250 million Bengalis worldwide through hoichoi, and LoglineAI — with the mandate and budget to modernize, not just maintain. This is a group going all-in on being AI-native, so an AI-first IT function isn't a nice-to-have here — it's the expectation, and you'll have real support to build it that way. A senior, central role with direct access to leadership across every entity; and the kind of ownership where your infrastructure decisions are felt across the group within weeks, not quarters.
