The client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager consultant to lead a strategic HR transformation program focused on modernizing and strengthening global HR capabilities. The program aims to standardize and streamline HR processes globally, transition toward strategic and scalable global solutions, and phase out legacy systems while ensuring continuity of critical HR services. The Senior Project Manager will lead multiple interconnected workstreams, align business and technology stakeholders, manage dependencies, risks and priorities, and constructively challenge plans and deliverables to ensure quality, pace and productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a complex HR transformation program across multiple workstreams, driving the transition from current systems and processes to the future-state landscape and agreed business outcomes. Define and maintain the overall program roadmap, including priorities, key milestones, dependencies, timelines and delivery plans. Provide clear direction to workstream leads, establish accountability, and constructively challenge plans, timelines and deliverables to ensure effective execution. Proactively identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks and blockers, facilitating timely decisions and resolution of issues. Drive the move toward globally standardized and streamlined HR capabilities and processes, covering implementation, migration and retirement of legacy solutions. Own the program’s Change Management and Communications strategy, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communication and adoption. Lead and support Change and Communications resources in executing the strategy, providing guidance and challenging approaches and outputs where necessary. Ensure robust planning and coordination across data, integrations, testing, cutover, business continuity and transition into BAU operations. Establish and maintain effective program governance, providing transparent reporting, insights and decision support to senior sponsors and steering stakeholders. Foster strong collaboration across HR, IT, Enterprise Architecture, global functions, external vendors and other key stakeholders throughout the transformation. Required Experience Substantial experience in leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs. Experience from at least two similar transformation programs involving enterprise system implementation, migration and/or decommissioning at scale. Strong experience in both project and program management, including leading multiple workstreams. Experience with process standardization, globalization or capability transformation within a complex organization. Experience in developing and assessing business cases and translating business needs into clear scope, priorities and decisions. Strong experience in developing and leading change management and communication strategies as part of large-scale transformation programs. Experience with HR systems, particularly HRIS, together with a good understanding of HR processes, payroll, data and integrations. Experience in change management, including stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, adoption and transition. Sufficient technical knowledge to engage with architects and specialists and constructively challenge them when required. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct line-management authority, using an empathetic leadership approach that balances structure, accountability and culture. Ability to quickly understand complex environments, get up to speed and establish clarity and momentum. Fluent in English, both spoken and written Preferred Experience Experience with global HR transformation, SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HR platforms, payroll and time management, complex integrations, legacy-system decommissioning and large international organizations is considered an advantage.
