As a Chef de partie and be responsible for a specific kitchen section and handle everything from preparation to the final presentation of dishes. You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Senior Head Chef’s in the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation. Responsibilities: You will report to and take direction from the Head Chef. Your main areas of responsibility will include, but are not confined to: Assisting with managing the production of food to an exceptional standard Assisting with the creation of imaginative menus Implementing, monitoring and complying with food hygiene and HACCP procedures Prepare dishes in accordance with agreed recipe and standards Ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to Stock rotation, ordering & recording as required Assisting with training of kitchen staff Assisting with the management and supervision of kitchen staff, particularly in the absence of the Head Chef. Assisting with measures in place for achieving gross margins on food sales, minimizing wastage and controlling relevant staff costs Maintaining consistent professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and personal hygiene
