Job Title: Meat Processing Operative Employer: H & D MEATS Ltd T/A Robinson Meats Location: Unit E1 Chapelizod Industrial Estate, Chapelizod, Dublin 20, D20 C437 Annual Salary: €32,691 Hours: 39 hours per week Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor meat processing and production machinery in accordance with established production procedures. - Prepare and set up the production line, ensuring that equipment, materials and meat products are ready for processing. - Carry out meat processing and preparation activities using appropriate machinery and equipment. - Handle and prepare meat products throughout the different stages of the production process. - Operate machinery used for the processing, preparation and packaging of meat products. - Monitor the production process and carry out routine quality checks to ensure that meat products meet the company's required standards. - Package, label and prepare processed meat products for storage and distribution. - Perform pre-start, hygiene and safety checks on machinery and production equipment. - Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within meat processing and production areas. - Identify and report equipment faults, product defects or production issues to the Line Supervisor. - Follow food safety, health and safety, hygiene and quality-control procedures at all times. - Complete required production and quality-control records. - Work as part of the production team to meet daily meat processing and production targets. Skills / Experience: - Previous production experience highly beneficial. - Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment highly beneficial.
