We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to install, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and renewable energy technologies in Donegal, Ireland. This role is pivotal in supporting Ireland’s transition to sustainable energy solutions. What you'll do Install and commission heat pumps, ventilation systems, and renewable heating technologies. Carry out pipework, electrical connections, and control system integration. Perform system testing and balancing for efficiency and performance. Diagnose and repair system faults, including refrigeration and control-related issues. Conduct planned preventative maintenance on HVAC and renewable systems. Provide emergency breakdown support. Advise customers on system operation and energy-saving practices. Liaise with manufacturers and technical support for resolving complex issues. Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintain equipment professionally. What you'll need Trade qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HVAC installation and servicing. Understanding of refrigeration systems and heat pump technology. Competency in electrical and control systems. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and sustainability principles. Good IT skills and experience with mobile reporting systems. Company: Efficient Renewables, Unit 2, Main Str, Newtowncunningham, Donegal F93 E4W8 Annual Remuneration: €36,605 based on a 39-hour work week. Hourly Rate: €18.05
