Bricklayer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and repairing walls, partitions and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks and stone. Main duties include measuring and setting out work areas, interpreting construction drawings and specifications, preparing and applying mortar, cutting and laying bricks and blocks, checking levels and alignment, completing pointing and finishing work, and ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards. The Bricklayer will be expected to use hand and power tools safely, maintain a clean and organised work area, follow site instructions and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements. Applicants must have previous professional experience as a Bricklayer, good knowledge of bricklaying methods and materials, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
