We’re Hiring Skilled Fabricators (MIG Welding) at Ward and Burke Ltd. Ward and Burke Ltd operate across Ireland, the UK and North America. Employer: Ward and Burke Ltd. Location: Gannon's Yard, Keelogues, Creggs Co Galway F42 D434 Key Responsibilities: • High quality MIG welding: Perform precise, clean, structurally sound welds to industry standards. • Independent workmanship: Deliver consistent results with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity. • Fabrication drawing interpretation: Read, understand, and work accurately from technical drawings and fabrication plans. • Safety commitment: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a tidy work area, and use PPE correctly. • Accuracy and attention to detail: Ensure measurements, weld placement, and final finishes meet exact specifications. • Quality workmanship: Uphold high standards in every stage of fabrication, from preparation to final inspection. Minimum Annual Remuneration & Benefits: • Salary €38,500. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with a possibility of extension • Overtime paid at rate of time and a half. • Ongoing, long-term work tied to major Ireland & UK construction projects • Opportunity for progression • A professional, safety-driven working environment Hours of Work: • 39-hours week; Monday- Thursday 9 am- 6 pm; Friday: 9am to 5pm. One hour’s lunchbreak each day Required Skills & Qualifications: • Qualified Mig Welding: Relevant Mig Welding qualification or strong equivalent experience • Attention to detail: Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements. • Teamwork & communication; ability to work on your own and part of teams.
