Dublin, is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for immediate start at their facility in Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co. Dublin, K36 P589. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field - Proven experience in soil stabilisation techniques and applications - Strong knowledge of ground improvement methods and materials - Ability to analyse geotechnical data and prepare detailed reports - Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools - Excellent communication and project management skills - Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: - To apply geological knowledge for the assessment of sites, soils, slope stability, sediments and other observable characteristics in the earth - To integrate the relevant information into the planning and development of projects in those area - To assess and answer questions regarding the geological characteristics of soils by performing research and experiments of the selected sites - To conduct and lead soil stabilisation projects in the construction of roads, platforms and residential sites - To conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments - To design and implement soil stabilisation solutions (lime/cement treatment, geosynthetics) - To analyse and interpret soil data, providing recommendations for ground improvement - To ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. - To liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met - Essential knowledge includes civil engineering, engineering principles and engineering processes - Further essential knowledge includes environmental legislation, geographic information systems and technical drawings - Applicants must have knowledge of geological time scales, geology, mining, and construction & civil engineering machinery - Essential skills include adjustment of engineering designs, advising on building matters, and approving engineering designs - Further essential skills include assessment of environmental impact, compliance with safety legislation, and execution of feasibility studies - Candidates must be competent to perform sample testing, perform scientific research on sites, and use technical drawing software - Candidates must have experience in projects involving soil stabilisation, ground improvement and innovative geotechnical solutions - Experience in soil stabilisation in the construction of roads, platforms and residential sites is required - Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is required Annual Remuneration: €45,000.00; Pay rate €22.19 per hour Work Location: Gutyiera Limited, Unit 12 Shannon Valley Centre, Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co.
