Salary : €36,400 Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Location of Employment: S&W, Paramount Court, Corrig Road, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin, D18 R9C7 S&W is an accountancy firm, providing expert advice across tax, accountancy, assurance, advisory, corporate finance, and restructuring. S&W works with businesses to navigate challenges, unlock potential, and achieve growth, serving clients across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and internationally. S&W’s Business Tax Team provides tax advisory and compliance services covering all relevant taxes including corporation tax, international tax, indirect tax and employment tax. S&W is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Business Tax Team in the Dublin office. The Tax Associate will be responsible for assisting senior tax professionals on a variety of tax compliance and advisory projects. Accordingly, the Tax Associate’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include: • Assisting with the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and computations. • Communicating with clients. • Conducting tax research assignments. • Drafting technical documentation. • Acquiring and building relationships with clients. • Supporting senior team members with complex client situations. To be eligible the individual must possess the following: • Experience in a tax or accountancy environment. • A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline. • Academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree. • Pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
