About the role DO Recruitment Advisors are delighted to represent a leading international private equity firm with offices across North America and Europe. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the accounting, financial control, and governance of a portfolio of Luxembourg SPVs. The role combines strong technical accounting expertise with a focus on process improvement and technology-enabled transformation. Key Responsibilities • Oversee accounting and financial reporting under Luxembourg GAAP for a portfolio of SPVs and holding structures. • Manage complex accounting areas including participations, intra-group financing, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions. • Coordinate year-end close activities, external audits, and statutory filings. • Design and maintain a robust control framework, ensuring strong governance, reconciliations and issue remediation. • Lead process optimisation, automation, and AI initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting quality. Profile sought • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. • 6–8 years' experience in accounting, audit, or finance, preferably with exposure to private equity, asset management, or financial services. • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting, tax, and regulatory matters. • Experience contributing to or delivering digital or process improvement projects. • Charted Accountant or equivalent qualification is a plus. • Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough, with strong organizational skills. • Practical problem-solver with common sense, able to prioritize effectively and work independently. • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with senior executives and external partners.
