The position To strengthen its development department, adwäisEO SA is looking for a talented experienced Python Developer for activities related to ingestion, archiving and dissemination of adwäisEO managed Data. She/he will contribute to the development of: • Interfaces for repatriation, and dissemination of adwäisEO managed data; • Processing chains for data derived products • Job orchestration in an HPC/cloud environment; • Secure development environment; • Maintain and improve existing applications. Must Have Requirements • Degree in Computer Science or similar mandatory; • More than 5 years of experience in a similar position mandatory; • Excellent command of Python; • Excellent command of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred); • Good knowledge of Linux command line; • Good English skills (both spoken and written); • Good command of control version tools (i.e. GitLab, GitHub); • Good command of CD/CI techniques and tools; • Good command of secure development; • Flexibility to handle new tasks and challenges; • Willing to learn; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong teamwork; • Proactive; • Valid work permit for EU. Being considered as a plus: • Other programming languages (Java, C++, NodeJS, …) • Knowledge of docker and orchestration (i.e. compose, Kubernetes and/or Rancher); • French knowledge.
