Senior Manager of Depositary Bank (h/f/x)

Description: Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a fast-growing international structure based in Luxembourg, a Senior Manager of Depositary Bank (M/F/X) on a permanent contract. • Status: Permanent contract (CDI) • Location: Luxembourg – Kirchberg • Start date: As soon as possible • Start-up mindset Within a dynamic, stable, and human-sized team, you will work in a fast-growing environment offering real opportunities for development and impact. This key position will allow you to actively contribute to the structuring and optimization of the depositary function. Your responsibilities : • Lead and oversee the Depositary Bank activity for AIF and UCITS funds • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of regulatory controls (AIFMD, UCITS V, etc.) • Act as a subject matter expert on depositary regulatory topics and maintain active regulatory monitoring • Drive strategic projects (oversight tools, automation of controls, process optimization) • Support and manage the team in daily activities and operational issue resolution • Participate in fund onboarding (risk analysis, documentation review, drafting of memorandums) • Supervise due diligence on delegates, service providers, and sub-custodians • Ensure follow-up and escalation of incidents, as well as the implementation of remediation plans • Validate depositary reporting, asset confirmations, and regulatory reporting • Represent the depositary function with regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders Your profile: • University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or equivalent • Significant experience (minimum 7–8 years) in asset servicing, custody, or depositary in Luxembourg • Fluency in English is mandatory; French and Italian or Spanish are considered assets • Strong knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD regulations, and the Luxembourg framework • Proven experience in team management • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities • Autonomy, proactivity, and initiative Why join this opportunity? • Join a fast-growing international structure • Evolve in an agile, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment • Benefit from real career development opportunities • Actively contribute to the development and evolution of the depositary activity
