We are looking for an Experienced Strategic Procurement Engineer to take ownership of our procurement strategy and operations as we scale. This role combines strategic procurement, technical expertise, supplier management, and cross-functional execution. You will work closely with the Manufacturing team, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Legal to build a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable supply base. This role is Ideal for someone with a strong ownership mentality, technical understanding, and proven track record of high performance. Your Roadmap to Make an Impact Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key commodities, components, and services. - Select, onboard, and manage global suppliers, building long-term strategic partnerships. - Take ownership of strategic suppliers and sourcing projects from selection through ongoing performance management. - Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Build and continuously develop a scalable and resilient supplier base. Cost, Risk & Contract Management - Lead cost reduction, value engineering, and commercial optimization initiatives in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing. - Lead supplier negotiations for contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements. - Identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain and supplier risks through effective contingency and risk mitigation plans. - Balance cost, quality, technical requirements, lead times, and scalability when making procurement decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as the procurement interface to Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Operations, and Legal for selected commodities and projects. - Work closely with Engineering to understand technical requirements, products, specifications, and cost drivers. - Support new product introductions, industrialization, supplier readiness, and production ramp-ups. - Coordinate procurement activities across teams to ensure material availability and timely execution. - Proactively identify bottlenecks, align stakeholders, and drive topics through to completion. Operational Ownership & Process Improvement - Take ownership of procurement priorities and ensure effective work distribution, follow-up, and execution. - Support procurement processes and KPI reporting. - Maintain supplier documentation, contracts, and relevant procurement data. - Contribute to procurement system and process improvements as TYTAN scales. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen procurement operations.
