1. Leads supply chain process improvement – internal and external – projects 2. Execute production transfer projects among suppliers based on predefined agreements 3. Assist in the developement of commodity strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers 4. Supports product design /redesign, complexity reduction projects to new and existing product via technical specifications, supplier capability and material selection 5. Establish, develop and maintain the technical relationship with suppliers. Communicates technical specifications to the supplier via design documents, manufacturing and quality standards, parts, change notices, engineering change notices etc. 6. Works with Materials, Operations and Suppliers to ensure adequate capacity to support production requirements. 7. Evaluates and qualify technical aspects of the supplier qualification process and monitors the execution of suppliers technical process 8. Facilitates the ongoing supplier review process QBR 9. Provide general technical process support and required to resolving supply chain issues
