The ABBL is currently looking for: A Tax Adviser (m/f) Your position The successful applicant will work with a high degree of autonomy within a small team of subject-matter experts under the supervision of the Head of Legal, Tax and Compliance. Your tasks • Analysis of draft regulations and laws impacting the financial sector in the fields of taxation (FASTER, CRS, DAC, Corporate taxation, VAT…) • Preparation of position papers and coordination of advocacy initiatives on tax matters having an impact on ABBL members • Assistance and information to ABBL members and preparation of industry guidelines within the area of expertise • Animation, coordination, and follow-up of relevant ABBL workstreams • Organisation of topical conferences and participation to external events within the area of expertise • Handling contacts with competent authorities to discuss relevant technical issues • Participation to external working groups at national and European levels Your profil • A Master's degree in tax law is preferred • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, synthesis, and writing skills • Strong organizational skills, with a high sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently • Ability to work effectively within a team, supported by excellent interpersonal and communication skills We offer • A remuneration according to profile and experience • A competitive remuneration package based on your profile and experience • A stimulating, collaborative, and multicultural working environment • Exposure to a broad range of tax matters affecting the financial sector, providing valuable insight into key industry issues and the opportunity to contribute to addressing the challenges faced by financial market participants • The opportunity to engage with our members and expand your professional network Ready to join an excellent team and contribute to high-impact projects?
