DevOps Engineer About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Linux systems administration, scripting, and CI/CD tooling, with a critical focus on migrating our build and release pipelines from Jenkins to Harness. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and enjoys collaborating across engineering, data science, and product teams. Key Skill Priority ⭐ Jenkins to Harness Migration Hands-on experience planning and executing migrations from Jenkins to Harness is the most critical requirement for this role. Must-Have Qualifications 4–7 years of relevant work experience; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required. Proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products, and/or working knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS (preferred). Experience with Shell, Python, or other scripting languages. Experience managing Linux systems and working with build and release tools like Jenkins. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Comfort operating in a fast-paced start-up environment. Good to Have Big Data & Platform Engineering Support experience in the Big Data domain. Experience architecting, implementing, and maintaining Big Data solutions. Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including: HDFS MapReduce Oozie Hive Impala Spark Kerberos Kafka Containerization & Infrastructure Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with configuration management systems. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
