What you’ll do Develop and maintain scalable artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) architectures and systems. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and Compliance to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing and new products. Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance of AI/ML systems. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI/ML. What’s required Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Scikit-learn. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Commitment to the highest ethical standards. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one.
