About the Position We are looking to hire an experienced Sales Trader to make an immediate impact on the client-relations side of our growing institutional trading team. In this dynamic role, you’ll serve as a front-facing representative of Jane Street and a valued liaison between our sales and trading teams and institutional clients. You'll be a primary point of contact for our clients across ETFs, corporate bonds and listed derivatives, facilitating trade execution across the entire life cycle. This is the core of the role but the people who excel are the ones who turn reliable execution into lasting partnerships, positioning Jane Street as their clients' go-to for current and new execution needs. You'll bring clients thoughtful pre- and post-trade analysis, anticipate what they're trying to achieve, and consistently deliver an excellent and enjoyable client experience. The right candidate will have superb interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for building trust with sophisticated clients over time. You'll combine strong commercial instincts with analytical depth, allowing you to anticipate client needs, spark new conversations, and thrive in a team that has built a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. About You Have 8+ years of experience in sales trading, preferably from the sellside covering buyside clients or execution trading on the buyside Demonstrated success in managing and building external relationships, particularly customer relationships Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and implement ideas in a fast-changing environment Motivated, collaborative and experienced teaching others and learning new techniques Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills Detail-oriented, organized and thorough, with a desire to seek continuous improvements where possible Able to multi-task and coordinate with colleagues as needed Experienced with covering a broad client base; institutional coverage is a plus Fluent in English, any other Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai) would be a plus If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to agency-partnerships@janestreet.com
