About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. At Wolt, you can grow your sales career with a fun and fast-scaling global business. Part of the DoorDash team, we’re building a global logistics platform that can deliver (almost) everything in your city, to your door in minutes. Today, our products are used by 55+ million registered users who can now order from 200,000+ restaurants and retail stores across 30+ countries around the world. Our Sales teams create and build relationships with merchants and businesses. Together, we’ve helped big brands, local stores and neighborhood restaurants do over €15 billion’s worth of business through our platform. We’re constantly launching new cities and products, so there are always new opportunities to expand your skills and progress your career. Now, with Wolt Wholesale , we’re bringing the speed and convenience of Wolt to the way businesses buy the products they need to run their day-to-day operations. Wolt Wholesale makes it possible for restaurants and other businesses to order wholesale products and have them delivered within 60 minutes. Wolt Wholesale is a startup within Wolt. We’re building something completely new, and as a small team we work in a highly entrepreneurial way: testing, learning, moving fast and figuring things out as we go. That means you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how we build the business — and as Wolt Wholesale grows, there will be plenty of opportunities to grow your responsibilities and career along with it. We’re looking for a Sales Associate to help us introduce Wolt Wholesale to more businesses, turn them into active customers and build lasting relationships with our growing customer base. If you enjoy talking to customers, are comfortable picking up the phone or getting out into the city, and get motivated by seeing your work translate directly into new customers and orders, we’d love to chat! Day-to-day in this role you’ll: Proactively reach out to potential Wolt Wholesale customers through phone calls, emails, in-person visits and other relevant channels. Introduce restaurant owners and other businesses to Wolt Wholesale and clearly communicate the value of having wholesale products delivered within 60 minutes. Guide interested customers through the simple Wolt Wholesale sign-up process and make it as easy as possible for them to get started. Follow up with prospects and newly signed-up customers to help turn interest and registrations into first orders and active customers. Manage and develop a portfolio of existing Wolt Wholesale customers, building relationships and making sure our service stays top of mind when they need to restock. Grow our core customer base by increasing the number of active and returning customers as well as the GOV they generate. Systematically build, manage and prioritize your sales pipeline to reach your acquisition, activation and account growth targets. Learn what resonates with different customers, handle questions and objections, and continuously improve how we pitch Wolt Wholesale. Spend time in the market meeting restaurants and businesses, building relationships and understanding their purchasing needs and habits. Work closely with the wider Wolt Wholesale team, sharing customer feedback and insights that can help us improve our proposition and accelerate growth. Use data and sales activity to understand what works, identify opportunities and focus your efforts where they can have the biggest impact. Contribute beyond your immediate sales responsibilities when needed. As part of a small, entrepreneurial team building a new business, we all roll up our sleeves and help solve problems along the way. Our humble expectations You are early in your sales career — perhaps a recent graduate or with up to 1 year of experience in sales, outreach, hospitality, support, retail or another customer-facing role. You enjoy speaking with customers and are comfortable proactively reaching out to people you haven’t spoken with before. You have a commercial mindset and can communicate a simple value proposition in a clear, convincing and engaging way. You are persistent and have a natural “hunter” mentality. You enjoy working towards targets, following up and finding new ways to turn potential customers into active ones. You also enjoy building longer-term customer relationships and finding ways to grow existing accounts — not just winning new ones. You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You enjoy entrepreneurial environments where not everything has been figured out yet. You’re comfortable trying things, learning quickly and taking ownership beyond a narrowly defined job description. Building relationships comes naturally to you. You can quickly understand what matters to a restaurant or business owner and adapt your conversation accordingly. You are structured and good at managing your time and pipeline while keeping track of many customer conversations at once. Experience with CRM tools is an advantage. You are tech-savvy, curious and a quick learner. Experience within the restaurant, hospitality or HoReCa industry is a plus, but not a must. You are fluent in Danish and English, both verbal and written. Why you’ll love it 🚀 Global company, startup opportunity: Get the best of both worlds — the pace, ownership and entrepreneurial environment of a startup, backed by Wolt and DoorDash. 🤩 Ride of a lifetime: Accelerate your career and build strong B2B sales and account management skills. 💪 Instant impact: See a direct connection between your work and the customers and orders you bring to Wolt Wholesale. 💙Big hearts and small egos: Surround yourself with smart, friendly people who enjoy building things together. WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.
Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.
The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.
Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
