Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to provide specialist DevOps services focused on designing, implementing, and enhancing cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, containerization, and monitoring tools to enable scalable, secure, and reliable application deployments. Scope of Services Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep. Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. Ensure security, compliance, and governance practices across Azure environments. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost. Required Skills 7+ years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps expertise. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts). Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation . Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep . Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python . Experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
