You will own the technical and solution strategy alongside your selling partners, from first discovery call through close. This is not a demo-runner seat or a support role. You are an equal partner in how deals are won. PandaDoc sits at the center of document workflow, CPQ, and revenue operations. Our SEs need to be as comfortable mapping a prospect’s contract lifecycle into a PandaDoc solution as they are walking that prospect’s engineering team through our solutions. What You’ll Do Partner with AEs to run the full technical sales cycle: discovery, solution design, demo, and close. Lead consultative discovery to uncover business pain, map processes, and define measurable success criteria. Build and deliver tailored, outcome-driven demos that connect PandaDoc’s platform to the customer’s actual workflows and CRM ecosystem. Proactively surface deal risks and objections, and propose clear paths forward. Develop deep product expertise across document workflows, CPQ, APIs, integrations, and automation. Build AI-powered workflows and tools that improve your own efficiency and raise the bar for the team. What We’re Looking For Pre-sales or solutions engineering experience, or a strong blend of technical and customer-facing work in a revenue environment. You think in business outcomes, not feature lists. You move quickly, build trust fast, and take ownership without being managed. Experience running consultative sales cycles in a SaaS environment. Working knowledge of integrations, APIs (REST, JSON, SDKs), and CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for any audience. Genuine curiosity about AI and a track record of building with it — whether that is workflow automation, internal tools, or something else entirely. Bonus Points Hands-on experience with document workflows, contract processes, or CPQ. Experience building and delivering story-driven demos for complex, multi-stakeholder deals. CS degree or equivalent technical background. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
