Lifecycle Experience Team The Lifecycle Experience teams aim to build a best-in-class customer experience for onboarding to Adyen's platform. Our product offers a one-stop solution to unlock access to a wide range of financial products and services. Tasks that we handle include identifying and verifying customer data, connecting payout accounts, ensuring compliance with all applicable local and global regulations, and securing legal entity data in motion and at rest. At a high level, our team builds and maintains both API and UI integration methods and seeks to improve our automation and compliance processes for our users. Day-to-day, our work can span from adding a field, to integrating with internal or third-party services for data enhancement, to preparing to launch our platform in a new region, and much more. Successful onboarding is ensured via designing a systematic API and an intuitive UI to guide customers through the entire journey with minimal manual data entry from the user or manual intervention from Adyen's operations teams. You will be responsible for researching, creating PoCs, integrating with external providers, and anything else necessary to reach this goal. Who you are: You enjoy seeing the big picture and understanding how your code impacts the business You have experience with Java, Web Services, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSql You have a good understanding of Software Engineering practices and interest in product knowledge You are familiar with complex large scale distributed systems You value involving other people to hear different perspectives Minimum qualifications: 6+ years of experience in the software development industry Full professional proficiency in English This role is based out of our Chicago office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
