About the Role We're not just looking for an editor, but an AI Filmmaker who thinks in terms of editorial vision and motion design—someone who jumps confidently into After Effects to extend the edit when needed, rather than relying on motion designers for everything. You'll lead editorial across complex projects while mentoring junior editors and setting the tone for how we approach storytelling in an age of generative tools. What You'll Do Lead editorial across client deliverables, campaigns, and social content—setting tone, pacing, and visual language Use Premiere Pro and After Effects fluently: handle motion graphics, compositing, color, and VFX yourself when it serves the work Know when to self-service and when to collaborate with animators for complex sequences Stay on top of emerging AI platforms and tools; help shape how we integrate generative workflows into editorial in a craft-first, narrative-driven way Mentor junior editors, review work, and maintain quality standards across the team Communicate clearly with producers about schedules and turnaround expectations Work cross-functionally with motion designers, colorists, sound designers, and AI artists What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional editing experience in commercial, advertising, or high-end content production Expert-level Premiere Pro skills and high proficiency in After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, color grading, VFX) Proven editorial leadership with a portfolio showcasing strong pacing, rhythm, and visual/audio integration Self-starter mentality: manage multiple projects, prioritize efficiently, deliver without being chased Genuine interest in AI tools and fluency with emerging platforms (Runway, Kling, Veo, Magnific, etc.) Strong communication skills Fast output mindset without sacrificing craft Fluent in English (comprehension and speaking) Who Thrives Here Filmmakers who move fast but refuse to use speed as an excuse for sloppiness Tool-agnostic thinkers who master the tools but stay curious about what's next Honest collaborators and natural mentors People who see AI as a creative partner, not a replacement What We Offer Lead high-visibility projects for ambitious global brands Creative autonomy in editorial decision-making Mentorship of junior editors and opportunities to shape studio workflows Access to cutting-edge AI and generative tools as they emerge Opportunity to position yourself as a thought leader in AI-native storytelling
