We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing platform team in Noida. You will help build and maintain highly available, scalable, and observable systems. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, embedding reliability into every layer of our stack. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitLab CI (experience with GitHub Actions is also valued). Monitor production systems using observability stacks (Logz.io, Grafana, etc.) and respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets in collaboration with product and engineering teams. Automate toil: identify repetitive manual tasks and eliminate them through scripting and tooling (Python, Bash, Go). Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation. Participate in blameless post-mortems and drive root cause analysis for production incidents. Collaborate with software engineers to review system designs for reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance. REQUIREMENTS 5-7 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or a related infrastructure/platform engineering role. Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Java, Go, or Bash). Hands-on experience running workloads on Amazon EKS in production, including node groups, IAM roles for service accounts (IRSA), and upgrades. Working knowledge of Istio service mesh: traffic management, mTLS, VirtualServices, DestinationRules, and sidecar injection. Solid experience with AWS core services: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, ECS, ECR, ASM, Lamda, CloudWatch, and AWS Load Balancers. Solid hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Opentofu, CloudFormation for IaC. Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD: writing and maintaining GitLab pipelines, runners, environments, and merge request workflows (experience with GitHub Actions is a plus). Hands-on experience with Argo & Kargo CD : writing and maintaining pipelines, promotions Evaluate, introduce, and champion new tools and frameworks for infrastructure automation, chaos engineering, and capacity planning. Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security leadership to align platform capabilities with business objectives. Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, TLS). Strong understanding of IAM roles, TLS Certificates, LGTM Stack. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with GitLab's broader DevSecOps platform: Container Registry, Dependency Scanning, or GitLab Environments. Familiarity with AWS FinOps practices: cost allocation tags, Savings Plans, and Compute Optimizer. Relevant certifications: CKA, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional. Excellent communication skills — able to articulate complex reliability trade-offs to both engineering and stakeholders

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
