We are looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer who combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with strong technical leadership and consulting skills. You’ll work directly with clients and engineering teams to architect and deliver modern digital products, guide technical decisions, and turn complex or ambiguous business challenges into scalable solutions. This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role for an experienced technologist who is equally comfortable writing code, leading technical delivery, discussing architecture with senior stakeholders, and helping teams make better engineering decisions. We’re particularly interested in engineers with deep React and TypeScript expertise, strong experience building on AWS , and a modern approach to software development that incorporates AI-assisted and agentic coding tools into everyday engineering workflows. Requirements: Extensive professional software engineering experience building and delivering complex, production-grade applications. Deep expertise in React and TypeScript , with strong experience designing and developing modern frontend and full-stack applications. Strong understanding of software and solution architecture , including the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions around scalability, performance, maintainability, and reliability. Significant experience with AWS and cloud-native application architectures, including serverless, containerized, and/or distributed systems. Proven experience serving as a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or senior technical owner for complex engineering initiatives. Ability to lead projects from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, deployment, and production. Strong experience designing and integrating APIs, backend services, and distributed systems . Hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies as part of software delivery. Understanding of agentic coding and AI-enabled software development workflows , including how these approaches can improve engineering productivity without compromising quality or maintainability. Strong consulting skills with the ability to understand client challenges, identify technical opportunities, and translate business requirements into effective engineering solutions. Excellent communication and executive presence , with the ability to explain complex technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience collaborating across engineering, product, design, and client teams in distributed environments. Ability to mentor engineers, establish technical direction, and raise engineering standards while remaining actively involved in hands-on delivery. Bonus points: Experience designing or delivering AI-powered or Generative AI applications . Hands-on experience with agentic architectures, AI agents, orchestration, or LLM-integrated development workflows . Experience with additional modern full-stack technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, React Native, or similar frameworks . Experience with AWS serverless architecture , including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, or related technologies. AWS certifications or demonstrated experience designing complex AWS architectures. Experience leading cloud modernization, application modernization, or legacy transformation initiatives. Experience conducting technical assessments, architecture reviews, discovery engagements, or consulting workshops with clients. Experience helping teams adopt new engineering practices, tooling, or AI-enabled development approaches. You’ll Love: Solving complex engineering challenges while remaining deeply involved in hands-on technical work. Working directly with clients and senior stakeholders to shape technical strategy and turn ideas into production-ready solutions. Leading engineering initiatives without stepping away from coding and architecture. Building modern applications with React, TypeScript, AWS, and emerging AI technologies. Exploring how AI-assisted and agentic development can fundamentally improve how software teams design, build, test, and deliver products. Mentoring other engineers and helping raise the technical bar across teams. Working across different clients, industries, technologies, and complex business challenges. By joining our team, you’ll be part of a winning squad that plays to each other’s strengths and celebrates every success together.

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
